The keel slat is glued to the bottom of the pontoon.

The use of such a slat has several advantages:

– adds controllability,
– reduces water resistance,
– reduces the turning radius,
– therefore increases speed, reduces fuel consumption,
– it is also an additional protection of the bottom of the pontoon from damage by stones, branches or other.
